Other employers, including clients of HIRECLICK, will not have access to information you submitted on applications to different employers or have knowledge of your applications to jobs outside of their own company.

Use of Your Information: The utilization of the information you submit is determined by each individual company. Generally, they will employ the information you provided to assess your suitability for a position, forward your details to managers during the interview phase, and potentially verify your employability. Your information may also be used to initiate an invitation from our system to an integrated third-party product or service related to your employment application. This may include employment assessments, electronic forms, and video interviews. Furthermore, your personal information may be shared with third-party vendors such as payroll, onboarding, and background screening services to facilitate the hiring process. The privacy and security policies of these third-party sites govern the personal information you submit to them, including registration for job alerts.

We do not maintain complete control over who has access to your application information or how it is used. Each of our clients has the ability to grant access to their employees and representatives. These representatives can download or print your application onto their individual devices or computers.

It is important to recognize that no system is entirely immune to breaches or misuse, as even paper applications stored in filing cabinets can be vulnerable to theft or improper handling. If you have concerns about the security of your information during the application process, we recommend following these general guidelines:

  • Never provide your Social Security Number (SSN) or other highly sensitive identity information as part of an initial application or to a company you have not directly interacted with through an interview or meeting.
  • If you feel uncomfortable with the information being requested, we advise researching the company by visiting their website and contacting them directly.

Communication may occur via phone calls, emails, postal mail, or even text messages. The company may contact you regarding different positions or opportunities within their other companies or divisions.

While we may facilitate this communication through our software platform, it is the responsibility of each client to comply with local, state, and federal laws when engaging in communication with you.

We cannot guarantee that a company you applied to will cease direct communication with you. If you wish to stop receiving text messages from one of our clients, simply reply to any of their text messages with the word “stop”. Protection of Your Information: We are committed to protecting your personal information, including your contact details, application information, and resume files. We achieve this by adhering to industry standards for encryption, firewalls, multi-step user authentication, and other security protocols.

The data collected through our site is stored at an AWS (Amazon Web Services) data center in the United States. AWS employs multiple layers of security to protect their data centers and critical infrastructure supporting the facilities.

Data Retention: The retention of specific applications you have submitted to various companies is subject to the employers’ own data retention policies. We do not have complete control over how long a company keeps your application on file, as this may vary from one company to another. Our clients may choose to retain your application as they reasonably deem necessary.

Children’s Privacy: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware of data collected from or about children under the age of 13, we will take steps to promptly delete that data from our servers.
